Dhanvantari, el dios de la medicina en el hinduismo, es considerado el santo patrón de Ayurveda. Dhanvantari es el avatar de Vishnu mencionado en el Bhagavata Purana y otras escrituras hindúes. Se le considera el fundador de Ayurveda y está asociado con oraciones por la salud.

Durante varios años, el grupo del centro de Dhanvantari ha estado trabajando en la creación de CD de música utilizando las claves principales de la antigua tradición ayurvédica: gandharva-vidya.

Gandharva-vidya es un método especial de vibraciones de sonido que armoniza el trabajo de los centros de control del sistema endocrino y todos los órganos vitales del cuerpo biológico humano.

De acuerdo con los resultados de los estudios realizados en el Instituto del Cerebro Humano de la Academia de Ciencias de Rusia, los trabajos musicales y los mantras utilizados en la serie de álbumes de Dhanvantari tienen un efecto psico-relajante, que equilibra varios ritmos del cerebro y elimina rápidamente los efectos del estrés agudo y crónico.

Esta música estimula la síntesis de melatonina, endorfinas y somatotropina, mejorando la regeneración de los tejidos dañados, inhibiendo el proceso de envejecimiento y restaurando el sistema de adaptación del cuerpo.
