LORD MAITREYAMy Icon“Now if I had an icon, it would be the sun. Enough said of icons.” This was my initial response. Then one of the editors of these discussions asked if I actually wanted an icon. I do – or did – not feel I needed an icon. Now, however, I am pleased. This icon is a symbol of the God spark that lives within each and every one who finds these messages, and also within each and every one who has not found these messages. This is not my icon, it is the icon of all humanity. With that, I am comfortable. Current FocusI am working, now, on the Plan our Lord God has set for planet Earth and specifically, on humanity’s place within the Plan. The cosmos has many life forms, not all of which are even suspected by the human mind, and all these life forms are precious to our Creator. All of these life forms have purpose for our Creator. So Creation is far more vast than any of the current texts or philosophies of humanity encompass. My work, however, while knowing of all these dimensions and all these various life forms that are precious to our Creator, my job, my task, my contribution is working here on planet Earth – specifically with humanity and within humanity. My purpose, I would say, is to soften the scales that are on your eyes, soften the plugs that are in your ears, smoothe the rough blocks in your mind, all these things that keep you from seeing and hearing and knowing – and most important of all, the heart. Touching each and every heart, that you may know you are each a child of God the Creator, that you may know you each have a mission in this incarnation, knowing that you each have a place in Creation. And I would help you understand this, so that you may work together. In order to work together, it is important that first you work inside, with yourself. My work is, you would say, working with the leaders to provide you a place – a country, a region, an institution, a system of governance – that allows for the fact that we, as individuals, work in groups and the environment must be there for us to do that. The environment must be there so that each is taken care of, and the whole moves forward. That is a brief description, I think, of what I am doing. I am working through individuals who have significant leadership responsibility. I am working through groups that have significant leadership responsibility so that each and every person in humanity, when they touch the God within, can see that there is a path forward for them as part of a group, and that the environment is there in which they can grow and their group can grow, and that, with love and joy, you take care of each other. Sufficiently said.
Now, my favorite or significant past life… It may surprise some and not others that I, too, have had incarnations as a human being. I don’t know if it's my favorite, but definitely a significant past life is in the ancient past, before even Atlantis came into full bloom, when there were, I would say, the beginnings of Atlantis. The soul you know as the Lord Gautama Buddha and I were both incarnate and working together. We were collaborating, the two of us, to bring humanity forward spiritually. And I, too, have a broad definition of spirituality. So, let us say we were working together with our teachings. This was a wonderful soul to work with. We had fun and we laughed together and we worked to draw forth from every human being we could reach, draw forth and nurture the spark of God that lay within them. It was rewarding to have such a splendid coworker, one I deeply respect still. Much happened subsequent to that life. But plans, the best laid plans, do not always work out. That was one of my favorite lives and it was significant, for I learned much working with the soul of Gautama. And he may even have learned a thing or two from me. I smile. I cannot tell. Thank you. |
